Yes, well done on making this change and pursuing changes til you found a liveable solution. But most of all, thanks for a really entertaining read first thing on this Sunday morning!!!
3 stone down is brilliant and you are enjoying your food as well. I know that if my weight loss stalls that I must have let the extras creep in too much so out goes the pre dinner G &T, slightly less butter and more veg, fruit and pulses. I love my food and your recipes are really tasty. It’s a whole new way of eating with occasional treats too. I find daily weighing and recording helps me stay on the straight and narrow while really enjoying my food. I must have lucked out with my branch of WW. The recipes did not appeal to me but I think they have changed their approach since.
My feelings about WW is that the are not all in tune with ‘foodieness’, but their eating plan is easily converted to foodieness – and their concept of pointless foods that you can eat freely, and counted foods that you have to be careful with, was very freeing. But I also think that eating enough of the high-density ‘counted’ foods was key!

Feels odd to say I enjoyed reading something about diets, but when it's as funny as this... Great read, as always, Lizzie.
Thanks so much for the lovely comment! Am with you about reading about diets – which is why I didn’t post about it for so long!
Well done you!
Thanks Rita!
This happened to me! I found WW and 5 years later weight has (mostly) stayed off!
Fantastic – it is a very clever system!
